cordon.jpg Ingredients:

  • 4 good plump skinless boneless chicken breasts
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups Italian bread crumbs
  • 4 slices swiss cheese
  • 4 thick slices ham lemon juice

Preparation:
cut chicken breast thru middle leaving slot, then put slice of ham and cheese in each .
Beat the eggs and put in shallow dish. Roll chicken breasts in bread crumbs then roll in eggs and then roll agian in bread crumbs. Pace chicken in baking dish and place in fridge for 2 hours. bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes and sprinkle with lemon juice and bake 10 minues longer.

I have skipped the 2 hours in fridge and they still turn out good. But i’ve also made them a day early and put in airtight dish and cooked them next day and they were good too.

Thanks for posting this. I can’t wait to try it. It sounds easy enough that even I can’t mess it up. Of course they don’t let me play with sharp objects but I can get someone to cut them for me. ;)
