Hi,
The reason for this post, is that I recently received a message from our CM Amy with some information on our member paisleybuddy, apparently she’s at the hospital… but well, here’s the message I received:
“hi friends, to all of you that know her, just wanted you to know that i recieved a phone call from liz(paisleybuddy). shes still in hospital , sounds very weak , hopeful,, says she is on chemo, and hopes to get to come home within a couple of weeks . she says she misses us a lot and hopes to see us soon. her daughter copied all the blog messages and took them to her, cheered her up immensely,  she still needs our prayers and keep the messsages coming. they do help. she says thanx and luv ya to all of you”
We would appreciate if you could leave your prayers, best wishes, or any other positive thought you want to share with her as a comment in this post… I am sure she will check this out.
Let’s show her that we care, lets show her how specials she’s for us!

Paisleybuddy’s daughter was kind enough to send us a note yesterday thanking you and letting us know a bit more about her mom’s condition:
“My Mum Paisleybuddy received the warm messages from her buddies on the blog, courtesy of IrishElf, who kindly e-mailed them to my mum,s addy. She wants to thank everyone for all their prayers, and good wishes. This means so much to her. Her tumour in the bladder was successfully removed, but chemo has had to follow, due to this being her seventh cancer. Her spirits are good, and all going well, she may be home by the middle of October. She misses everyone so much, as she says it is like having one big happy family, and everyone loves each other, and support each other in their time of need. I can only thank you so much for all the support you have shown my mum. I love her very much, as I know you all do. she keeps everyone in her prayers, and thinks of you all often. God Bless you all, words are not enough to express just how grateful I am for my Mum to have you all. Catherine xxxx Liz,s daughter.”

Good news… Paisleybuddy’s daughter wrote us a note on her mom’s condition, apparently she’s finally returning home:
“I AM DELIGHTED TO LET ALL CM,S AND ROOMIES KNOW MY MUM WILL BE HOME FROM HOSPITAL ON SUNDAY OCTOBER 19. SHE HAS PLAGUED THE HOSPITAL TO GET HOME AS APPARENTLY SHE WILL BE 2 YEARS ON THE SITE ON THE 26TH, AND WANTS TO SPEND IT WITH HER FRIENDS. SHE HAS NOW CONVINCED THEM THAT HER CHEMO CAN CARRY ON WITH VISITS TO THE HOSPITAL DAILY BY AMBULANCE, AND I GUESS THEY REALISE SHE IS JUST DESPERATE TO BE IN HER OWN HOME, ALTHOUGH SHE IS STILL OBVIOUSLY PRETTY WEAK, BUT SUCH A FIGHTER, I AM SO PROUD OF HER. UNFORTUNATELY I WASNT ALLOWED AT THE HOSPITAL OVER THE LAST WEEK AS I HAD FLU, SO SORRY FOR NOT BEING ABLE TO UPDATE EVERYONE. I KNOW MY MUM WILL THANK EVERYONE FROM THE BOTTOM OF HER HEART FOR ALL THE PRAYERS AND GOOD WISHES THAT HAVE BEEN SENT, BUT I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO SAY, I CANT THANK EVERYONE ENOUGH – SHE TALKS ABOUT BINGOHALL CONSTANTLY AND I KNOW HOW MUCH SHE HAS MISSED EVERYONE., SO HUGS, KISSES, AND MANY MANY THANKS FROM ALL HER FAMILY. WE LOVE YOU GUYS FOR HELPING HER THROUGH THIS CANCER, MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL. MUCH LOVE, CATHERINE – PAISLEYBUDDYS DAUGHTER. XXXXX”

Hey hey… good news, Paisleybuddy is back home! I received an email from her today:
“Hi Esteban, I am finally home from hospital after almost two months. I cannot tell you how much it meant to me to have the get well wishes and prayers from yourself, CM,s and my very dear roomies. I was overwhelmed at the kindness, and loved all the messages left on Blog for me. In fact, it was quite a talking point with the nursing staff when my daughter Catherine arrived with all the print-outs from Bingohall. I have always felt this site to be community spirited, and for me I have already had a JP, one you could never put a $ sign on, from all my family here at Bingohall just for being there for me. Many many thanks to you all my very dear friends. I love you all. Paisleybuddy”
