Our VIP Bonus situation
Greetings to all of our bingo fans out there; it has come to our attention the numerous observations regarding our bonus system that we have altered in the past couple of days. This note is to clarify what our position is regarding the matter and why we chose to do this; we have received complaints about it and we believe it’s best if you guys know our version and our reasons behind this decision.
First of all we would like to tell you that higher bonuses never dictate the quality of the site; over the years we have refrained ourselves from using this bonus scheme and we are mighty proud of this; we have seen other sites adopt this strategy where ultra-insane deposit bonuses are at the order of the day and players are easily lured in to it and we find this very unfortunate because it’s easier to lure players in to this than to offer certain values or standards to our players; this is why our concept since the inception of Bingo Hall has been different; we offer the true value to our players through our promotions, through our dedicated service, to our Progressive jackpots that are actually obtainable and through our unconditional quest that we will never be satisfied with what we provide to all of our players; we work very hard behind the scenes to make sure this holds true no matter what and I am sure that most of you would agree to this point. We have added over 5 rooms in the past couple of years to cater your specific needs and we don’t stop there as we still have many projects that are pending and we work hard towards them day after day.
Having said this, the bonus is a value that we carefully select and things such as the time, method, expiration date and amount are factors we weigh when it comes to implementing them; we want to adopt a system from time to time that ensures that our bonus scheme will work in a way that the higher the amount, the more rewards there should be; this applies to any business model that you interact daily.
The reason why we lowered them are numerous but the most important ones are that we have to carefully review these bonuses in order to sustain a healthy site balance that could later hurt both ourselves and all of you and two, because we still believe in the dynamism of our promotions and they are after all, for a certain period of time; what happens when the 300% isn’t “enough” and BHL has to recur to 400% and then 400% isn’t enough? This is something players and sites need to understand; bonuses should be capped for the sake of the site and players too; in general we believe this balance should be at 250% under normal circumstances and we think that’s a pretty good percentage considering we have promotions, chat games, chat bonuses that make up for it.

I understand what you are saying, however I don’t agree with all of it. For a long time, the 300 % was a very limited bonus. And then all of a sudden so many had it. I think that is where the cap should have gone. There are several players here who have been here almost as long as the site has. They have supported and helped to build the site to where it is today. Cutting back on their bonuses is like saying we no longer value you as a player.
Just my opinion, but you did ask for comments.
Thanks. I always enjoy playing here, but the site has grown so much it is so much harder now to win. Nevertheless, I have persisted and one of the things that has kept me here was the bonuses that you awarded.

We are only halting the constant 300%; we might do it again based on amount or method or something else; the point is that we think we have to diversify this a bit in order to sustain such balance; we don’t think it’s a bad decision and the site has grown a lot, I agree, but you have to agree with the fact that we have made some revisions in order to remedy this and we still have more.
The bonuses are still great and again, we still have other ways you can achieve them. Thanks and do get back to me please.
I decided to stop playing here.. the 300% bonus was a big atraction to me I have been here almost as long as you been open and i look at that as an appeciation i never win anymore an you seem to care about the new players so i aam done but thanks for the good times
I have read your explanation and still disagree. It makes absolutely no sense to remove 300% bonus for those who have obtained the highest levels and have been here for years. In reference to chat comps little by little BH has also cut wayyyyyyyyyy back on those and the new bonus rules just take the cake. For me personally I feel the professional way to have handled this situation, should be to grandfather the players who earned the 300% bonus in years and VIP level and begin this for newcomers. I will not deposit here at BH until I receive the 300% bonus. I abide by the rules have deposited thousands and will NOT take any less. Its like this Marco, as a supervisor I assume you make a substantial salary greater than a clerk. Would you continue management stress for clerk salary I Doubt it greatly! This is what your asking us to do with our deposit bonus its wrong. Poor judgement as far as I’m concerned.
Hi Marco, I agree with both you and Irish. There are several of us that have been around for a long time and are in it for the long haul sort of speaking. I do love this site and have not played anywhere else. The bonuses have been generious (frankly the only way I can afford to play) and I love the free rooms that run from time to time. However, business is business and I understand that from your perspective it must be maintained with all the fairness and equality possible. BHL has grown so much from the “ole” days and you know what I’m talking about. Just one word of wisdom, please don’t get so big that the site loses it’s warmth and caring about it’s players. I think that is what makes it special. Just thoughts. Thanks for the years of fun!!!

Just wanted to say that i’ve been here at this site for almost as long as the site has been opened I started out with deposite bonuses when i was only receiving like 37% i looked forward to moving up a level so that my deposite bonus would get higher then i reached the highest level there is and I loved the VIP treatment and the bonus… for awhile I would think to myself all these new players and they were receiving their VIP level + 100% and i would think back to what I started at and say to myself…SELF…lol damn aint they lucky.. now I just made a deposite and found out I no longer get that VIP bonus… Whats up with that..I just think that I’ve put in alot of time(YEARS)and money to get the bonus I deserved and now it is being taken away..Im starting all over again. (somthings not right)

I am glad some can understand where I am coming from; Punkster, I disagree completely with the management stress – clerk analogy, because this is bonuses, the bonus amount is something that we, as an operator can set; furthermore, as Samiam has pointed out, the site was smaller and we not even then took the route of having these huge bonuses. It is unhealthy for a site and players to have them this big and nobody can deny this either.
About the big site analogy and more and more people this is something we agree and this is something we are working on; to keep you guys happy with your friends no matter how big the site is. The bonus is the easy route and nobody has been able to respond to the question; what happens when 300% isnt enough? This is the everyday situation most of these sites live by; huge bonuses, people come in, play and not enough players to stick and make those pots bigger, etc. Isn’t that a contradiction right there? The pots do not depend on how big the bonuses are; it’s different values or factors that I have listed.
Our site has become so big and you guys (and gals) need to understand this concept that it doesn’t necessarily mean more rooms for you to play at; it also doesn’t mean that as bonuses grow, you play on more rooms, the process should become more selective.
I will tell you guys also about another crisis that happened many years ago which some of you might remember; the bonus with Slots and VP; before there was no conversion and the bonuses were KILLING the Slots and VP and we were forced to either cut them down (bonuses) or disallow the games; you guys know which option we took (neither) and we still got tons of criticism for it, but in the end, wasn’t this the best decision?
We take in to consideration what you guys have to say and it isn’t as terrible or tragic, trust us on this; we’ve been long enough to know that some decisions may be hard to take, but we are confident with them, but we must need your support and understanding about it.

I have been a loyal player & depositer of thousands of dollars at this site. Takeing away my 300 percent bonus really show how you can just through aside a loyal player. Working my way up to leval 11 . For over 5 years. I have never won a pjp. Some players win them over and over. I dont think it was to much to ask to keep my 300 % deposit bonus.
All the new cm’s work 1/2 hr then take a break, one even said ill be back after i do my dishes, lol. I am paying money to play ch games to here that. Some of the time i dont even get the bbs . For us to have to track down the cm that was supose to keep track of them when we dont even know when they work. Also i get the run around when i ask a question.
So I am done playing here. And im takeing my friends with me.
I dont think its very nice when your suppose to be a JetSet Member yet there is only bonus’s if you deposit 300.00 or more.
Some of us can’t afford to deposit 300.00 at a time.
It seems from playing here that there are different rules for different people…and as far as I am concerned no matter if you are depositing 10.00 or 1000.00 we should be treated the same.
I dont understand how people are winning big jackpots and the next week playing chat games…maybe someone can explain because I am not the only one confused on this matter.

I agree with Irish and some of Punky. I also think that 300% is good enough. I would never ask for 400%, but it was the 300% that kept me here. To put thousands of dollars playing, I felt that the 300% was earned, not a bonus. I dont know what the expenditures vs payouts are, but it seems to me that the people who have been very loyal to this site should retain their 300% bonus. To go up a scale was a feat well deserved by those people who attained such a level. I keep re-reading the management reason for the change and frankly i wish it were spelled out more clearly. I still dont understand and am trying to read between the lines. The quality of the site has always been great. There was and is no question about that. My other disappointment about the change right now is that you can only get the “better” bonuses if you deposit $100 , $200 , $300 or more. For those of us who cannot do that deposit in one lump sum, due to circumstances, we cannot even take advantage of the changed bonuses. ( less that $100). This proved very frustrating for me, and having the 300% bonus taken away or having to deposit a greater amount is just too much of a change. No, I guess I just dont understand the business portion, but I do know that I will miss the terrific people here.

Thanks for taking the time to respond; in the end, like I have previously explained, our bonuses are something optional and never mandatory; I also think that the important factor of site balance hasn’t been discussed or acknowledged; it’s very dangerous to have the site with high deposit bonuses and 250% is the advisable threshold we are recommended to stay at. I need you guys (and gals) to understand this concept; we carefully review some things, and the bonus system is something we need to have in check; we have also added more rooms, lower denomination ones, etc to balance the extendibility of any given deposit; like I have previously defended, we are trying to give more options and incentives that carefully maintain this balance.
To those saying that they are leaving, I have to ask if all that matters is our deposit bonus? Is that the only reason why you chose BHL? Please be so kind to let me know, your feedback is extremely valuable to us.

Since you asked, yes. Very definitely after reaching 300% bonus is the reason I an ABLE to stay here. Of course its not all that matters, Marco. THis site is the best. I would not go anywhere else. The people are great and the roomies terrific and I am very saddened by the change, but in the end, the bonuses are what made it work, at least for me. And now with the smaller deposits not even getting any other bonus amounts, my time here and deposits are affected.
Are the payouts more than the profits? just curious. But in any event, hey.. its your site. You have to do what you have to do based on the owners wishes. If we dont like it, Im sure that doesnt matter…. and that is sad.
Marco, I have just read your update. I say if 250% bonus is the threshold it would have been a smart move on Management to send or call each VIP player explain bonuses would have to be cut and give the players who have been here for years the 250% i’m sure that would have been more tolerable and would most likely kept alot of players. I still feel it was a poor decision on management to expect people who have received a 300% bonus on every deposit and think they would take 125% 160% and be happy with those percentages it makes no sense. You buy a car your payment is $250 month then dealer calls you up a year later says btw the dealership is in bad shape we have to hike your payment to $450 would you pay it? I know I wouldn’t same concept here you give bonus of 300% because we are VIP then tell us your still VIP but only worth 125%-200% bonus if you triple deposit amount its just wrong
looks like monday and tuesdays are the days for us long time members who have reached the highest vip level to deposit.(for now anyway) I understand bingohall has a right to stipulate what the bonuses will be…however I think it is very unfair that you have to deposit $100 or more to get more…. I’m sure there are quite alot of players that just can’t afford to deposit more than $25 at a time…Marco I must say that the deposit bonuses are the main reason I play here….I used to go into chat and get bb’s….but frankly I got tired of all the whinning about how much people spend with no wins or how many games they played with no win..and the indirect begging so someone will give karma…lol so my winnings (slim as they are) and the bonuses are the main reason I have stayed here at bingohall…don’t misunderstand me the cm’s have all been great when I have been in chat, and I have always been treated fairly when I had a problem…..the bottom line is….bingohall will do what they must do and its up to the players to decide if they want to stay or not

After reading some of the comments,i understand where youre coming from.I dont play here just 4 a bonus.I am comfortable here, and 90% of roomies r entertaining.Most of all, the entire support and deposit help uot checks have r the most warm and tolerable staff members I have ever seen on sites.I appreciate whatever the bonus is.Bonuses r not checks, they dont go up cause of cost of living lol

ive read all of the responses and i agree and disagree with some of the things that have been said ive been playing here for 3 years now i dont play cause of the vip bonuses i play because i think this is a great site and ive tried all of many sites there arent any as good as this one but i think you should stay with the 300% bonus even though i dont get that becuase it isnot right to take away from the loyal players . the loyal players are the ones who stuck it out all these years and that is the way to show that the site cares.i personally cannot afford to make 100.00 deposits at a time and i am ok with whatever bonus i get. i think we would not complain as much if there were more of a fare shot at winning in the rooms instead of the same winnersover and over and even with the bbs on all the promos its almost impossible to win the promos if you cant deposit hundreds of dollars at a time.i dont win very often if i win once or twice out of a week after making 2 or 3 deposit im lucky. but i love to play on the site but i feel every one has issues and it is a business so bingo hall will do things the way it feels it should.

I dont pay much attention to the bonus amount when I want to play. Yes my vip is 11 and the 300 was nice, but like you said marco, I considered it a gift.
Frankly, I cannot imagine everyone getting so upset over 50 per cent bonus.
I gladly take the 250 but also gladly take the lesser amount on the weekend when I want to play.
The point is, I want to play and tks for whatever bonus I get.
As for the bb. They have never been better.
Cant figure out why anyone would think they are worse.
I’m sure all of you that say you are leaving have visited other sites. I have.

well what a mess everyone keeps saying what about when 300% isn’t enough and we want 400 % or more ? well when we stay and settle for 250 or 200% are we gonna soon hear well we need to go to 150% ? works both ways . just as we get 300% now and that is being taken away . bottom line not happy either . 6 years and thousands of dolars 300% in BB’S should be given.

I want to thank bingo hall for the extremely fun times Ive had over the last 3 yrs. Working myself up to level 11 was very costly and fun. But now i see even the jet set games are dancing around. Why do you start out with $1000 and keep going down? Why cant a member get a better bonus be depo less than $100? These changes are just too much. Please let me know if you change this back. I am so disgusted. Being a jet set member means nothing anymore.
