I received an email from Irishelf yesterday, asking if we could include a post here for you all to leave your best wishes for our friend tonkaalan… it appears that she’s at the hospital right now, “She has been having a rough time for quite a while now, and last I heard, she had stopped Chemo, as her body couldn’t take it any more. “ Irish said on her email.
I am sure most of you know tonkaalan, since she has been with us for quite a big time until now and even if you don’t know her, this post should be the place to leave your best wishes for her… please do so, as I know this will cheer her up. This is a difficult moment, but should also become a chance for you to show her your appreciation, show her that we care!

I have had the rare privelege of meeting a warm and caring person we call tonk. I love her and enjoy talking to her, what you see is what you get: warm brown eyes that light up when she smiles,her undivided attention when you speak, her quick humor when you say something stupid (and I did)lol. dear mom, i am sitting here at your computer printing out this blog dedicated to you, per your request you would like me to read the wonderful messages left for you. so i thought that i should add one of my own… it is now 3:45am october, 22 2008., i will make this as quick as possible since i know you are waiting for me to deliver the messages to you from all your bingobuddies, whom i know you dearly love and wish to thank for all their support through this trying time. now as we near the end and approach our last hours together i want you to know that i love you and will deeply miss you but i do know that you gave it your all, and i want you to know that i admire you for that, as i have seen the pain and agony and know that you deserve to be in peace..and i have no doubt that you will watch over us all, and be our guardian angel.. i love you mom !
