 Guys, this message came to me while I was on my vacations… Rickyticky’s mom “nana” passed away yesterday. Rickyticky asked me to post a message here:

“To all of the most wonderful cm’s and players at BingoHall:

We lost Nana last night at 10:15, Monday, January 5th.
The speed of her decline and death has nearly taken my breath, it was so fast.
But the one thing I kept thinking of last night was her big smile on her recent birthday when all of you took
the time out of your busy days to make one day special for my Mom.
I wish all of you would have had the chance to know her. What a special lady she was. She raised four children with
one adoring husband and touched so many lives with her “southern drawl” and generous heart that she will be
remembered by many for years to come.
Her needs were few, you could put that smile on her face so easy, and a card in the mail to her was as wonderful
as any expensive gift. She loved to receive cards. So the 57 cards that she ended up receiving from each of you
was a pot of gold to her.
The time that Dodgey and Arty spent making pictures of the “babies” as Mom called the three cats
dressed in their assorted costumes, was so well spent girls because to me you could have spent a million
dollars and not made her smile that big.
That smile is what I will miss the most and all of you will never know how much you all mean to me that you
helped make it so bright her last days.
May our God in heaven richly bless each of you.”

OMG i just looked at the blog, I am so sorry my friend. I am in shock. The sadness I feel for you i can’t even put into words. I hope you find peace that she is in much better place and she is at peace no more pain. I was so happy to send her a card, glad it made her day.

So sorry to hear your Nana is no longer with you Ricky. I know you had a wonderful time with her on her birthday, and you must have such great memories to warm your heart. Remember her warm sunny smile, and all the good things you done together., as she will now be smiling down on you. May she rest in peace. x
Ricky, my heart is so full right now with the things you had to say about your mom. I can only hope and pray that my children will ever say such kind things about me. Nana was, I’m sure, and still would be proud of you and thankful to have a daughter like you as well. Take care of yourself during this trying time and God be with you.
