Hi again my dear friends,

Here I am with some stuff to share with you, I am currently trying to accumulate tthis information for a single post once in a while, I hope you don’t get mad at me… I rather do it this way, than posting individual things every day. Is just to offer you a better post, with more things, more info.

The reason for the title of this post?! Well, CM Crissy wanted to share with you the recipe for her Buckeyes. According to what she said “I WAS TELLING ROOMIES ABOUT BUCKEYES, THEY ARE A CANDY, AND I TOLD THEM I WOULD SEND THE RECIPE SO YOU COULD POST ON THE BLOG FOR ME.” … your wishes are my command dear lady. BTW, sorry for the caps, I guess she wrote this while working in chat lol:

“HERE IT IS;
BUCKEYES
1 CUP PEANUT BUTTER
2 STICKS MARGARINE, SOFTENED
1/2 TEASPOON VANILLA EXTRACT
4 CUPS POWDERED SUGAR
12 OUNCE BAG SEMI SWEET CHOCOLATE CHIPS
2 TABLESPOONS SHORTENING

1. MIX TOGETHER PEANUT BUTTER AND MARGARINE WITH MIXER UNTIL CREAMY.
2. ADD VANILLA EXTRACT AND MIX WELL
3. ADD POWDERED SUGAR, ONE CUP AT A TIME AND MIX WELL AFTER EACH ADDITION. PLACE MIXTURE IN REFRIGERATOR AT LEAST ONE HOUR. AFTER REFRIGERATION, LINE COOKIE SHEET WITH WAXED PAPER. ROLL THE PEANUT BUTTER MIXTURE IN 3/4 INCH BALLS AND PLACE ON COOKIE SHEET. INSERT TOOTHPICK INTO EACH PEANUT BUTTER BALL AND FREEZE FOR ONE HOUR OR UNTIL HARDENED.
4. MELT THE CHOCOLATE CHIPS AND SHORTENING IN PAN ON LOW HEAT UNTIL FULLY MELTED, STIRRING CONSTANTLY. DIP EACH PEANUT BUTTER BALL IN CHOCOLATE MIXTURE 2/3 OF THE WAY IN THE CHOCOATE. PLACE ON WAXED PAPER LINED COOKIE SHEETS AND PLACE IN FRIDGE UNTIL CHOCOLATE SETS.

THAT’S IT. ENJOY”

Thanks very much Crissy, for taking some time to share this nice recipe with us, I am sure our roomies will try to prepare it at home!

Artworks94 couldn’t send us her old pic, for our family album before, so she did this week, even though we were not accepting more, an exception was made and here it is:

And, we also received some pics from hugiegirl, she said:“Hello, Esteban…many roomies  have asked about him , I have tried to descibe him…. I am hoping you will post this to the pics…He is half Pug and half American Eskimo and thinks he is human…lol”

Thank You much…keep up the great work at BH…

Again, your request is our command, here are the pics:

I had to put them as titles, as their resolution was too high.

Thanks you all for the contributions,

Esteban
