cdk8897… injured??!!
July 3rd, 2008 Posted in The Hall's NewsStiksapp47 contacted us with some valuable info and we would like to share it with you as well. This is what she wrote:
“Would very much like to pass on a comment regarding one of our favorite roomies! cdk8897 was injured last week mowing her lawn; something flew off the ground from lawn mower and hit her in the eye. At this time she has no sight in that eye; she is seeing more Specialists on Thursday July 3. I want her to know that myself and all the roomies are with her; our prayers and thoughts on a speedy recovery and the regaining of the sight in her eye. We love ya cdk and want you to get better really soon!!! Happy 4th of July too!”
Thanks very much for sharing this info with us, we wouldn’t know if you didn’t email us. Of course, we wish her a soon recovery and would you all to have a happy 4th of July too… I think I will launch a special blog contest for this special date… hmmm but dunno yet…. I will let you know later.

Today is 4th of July and I sincerely hope that cdk got good news re her eye injury.

Anyone who knows Chris (cdk) knows just how wonderful and really so very special she is,-she is truly a angel and so needs our prayers for her to get better– I know prayer is a strong healer and with all of her bingo friends to pray-she will truly get better– I know it with all my heart!!! I cant thank you all so very much for all your thoughts and prayers. I can’t tell you how much you all mean to me.You’ve always been my rock and my family especially when we were all dealing with cali, which affected all of us.You were always there for me no matter what, I don’t know what I would of done without you all. Just a quick update I still have no vision in the eye, they do believe it was a chemical burn but until the swelling in the cornea goes down and now its infected, not 2 many tests can be done at this point so the specialists don’t know if the damage will be permanent.My records have been sent to the Boston Eye Clinic. I don’t need to ask you to continue to keep cali and myself in your thoughts and prayers and you are all in mine I love you all and I want to send a special thanks to art/dodge the twisted sisters who sent me a pkg of depends all hand decorated by them with stikers and glitters for each of the rms, along with a blow up whomp it so i can beat GILDA LOL That definitely put a smile on my face!!!! Gonna try and take pics and send to Estaban to see if they can be put on the blog so you can all enjoy………. Thanks again for everything
